Responsibilities
- Assist veterinary professionals in daily clinical and administrative tasks.
- Participate in patient care activities, including handling and restraint.
- Observe and learn from experienced veterinarians and veterinary technicians.
- Contribute to the maintenance of medical records and documentation.
- Support client communication and education.
- Collaborate on special projects and initiatives within the veterinary clinic or hospital.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited veterinary medicine program or related field.
- Strong academic standing.
- Passion for animal healthcare and a commitment to the well-being of pets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
Experience
- Previous coursework or experience in veterinary medicine is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with animal handling and care is advantageous.
