Responsibilities
- Conduct research and analysis on transportation safety issues.
- Assist in the development and implementation of safety programs and initiatives.
- Collaborate with NHTSA teams on data analysis, reporting, and policy initiatives.
- Support outreach and education efforts to promote safe driving practices.
- Contribute to the creation of reports, presentations, and other communication materials.

Qualifications
- Recent graduate from an accredited college or university.
- Degree in Public Policy, Transportation Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong academic record and a passion for transportation safety.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
Experience
- Previous coursework or experience in transportation safety or related areas is preferred.
- Familiarity with traffic safety regulations and initiatives is advantageous.
Skills
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in research methodologies and data analysis.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
