Responsibilities
- Conduct research and analysis on consumer financial protection issues.
- Assist in the development and implementation of consumer education programs.
- Collaborate with CFPB teams on policy and regulatory initiatives.
- Support outreach and engagement efforts with stakeholders and the public.
- Contribute to the creation of reports, presentations, and other communication materials.
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited institution.
- Pursuing a degree in Law, Public Policy, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Strong academic record and commitment to consumer protection.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience
- Previous coursework or experience in consumer protection, financial regulation, or related areas is a plus.
- Familiarity with regulatory processes and legal frameworks is advantageous.
Skills
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in research methodologies and data analysis.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
