Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and analysis on consumer financial protection issues.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of consumer education programs.
  • Collaborate with CFPB teams on policy and regulatory initiatives.
  • Support outreach and engagement efforts with stakeholders and the public.
  • Contribute to the creation of reports, presentations, and other communication materials.
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited institution.
  • Pursuing a degree in Law, Public Policy, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong academic record and commitment to consumer protection.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience
  • Previous coursework or experience in consumer protection, financial regulation, or related areas is a plus.
  • Familiarity with regulatory processes and legal frameworks is advantageous.
Skills
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in research methodologies and data analysis.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
