Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting research, data analysis, and fieldwork related to water resource projects.
- Support project managers and engineers in planning, design, and implementation of water infrastructure projects.
- Participate in environmental assessments, compliance activities, and conservation efforts.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Communicate findings and recommendations through presentations, reports, and other forms of documentation.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working in various field and office environments.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program (e.g., civil engineering, environmental science, hydrology, etc.).
- Strong academic record with a focus on coursework related to water resources, environmental studies, or related fields.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with computer software and tools commonly used in the field (e.g., GIS, AutoCAD, MATLAB, etc.).
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Experience
- Previous internship or relevant work experience in water resources management, engineering, or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Experience with data analysis, fieldwork, or project management is a plus.
